Arts Access Aotearoa is seeking nominations to the Big ‘A’ Awards 2010, presented every year to celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations working to enhance the artistic lives of people who have limited opportunities to access the arts. There are four awards, recognising a creative space, a community partnership, a leader in prison arts and a talented young artist in the Great Wellington region, who faces barriers in pursuing his/her artistic potential. The recipients are recognised at a special ceremony in Parliament every year. Nominations close at 5pm Friday 26 March 2010. You can find out more and download nomination forms on this website.
